Unisan started in 1993 as a family-owned company inspired by hygiene in the workplace. Our goal was simple: to help companies create healthier, safer environments. We’d do that by providing facilities and sanitary equipment and supplies to businesses across a wide range of industries. How It All Started

Our founder, current CEO Ron Markham’s father, was a mechanic that purchased large amounts of Nature Grit industrial hand cleaner and garage cleaning products for his auto repair and maintenance profession. Ron’s father knew that this was an urgent need for most businesses, so he started sharing and distributing hand cleaners himself.

Eventually, his distribution business grew so big that he left his mechanic business to found Unisan. Today, Unisan distributes personal protective equipment (PPE), sanitary equipment and supplies to businesses in industrial facilities, hospitality, medical, education, manufacturing, and many other industries. We have our own well-equipped delivery trucks and inventory warehouse in Bell, CA, as well as a network of partners throughout North America for warehousing and deliveries for our national clients
